To Stage or Not to Stage? That is the Question!
The National Association of Realtors surveyed their members and released the findings of their Annual Profile of Home Staging…
Some Highlights:
- 62% of seller’s agents say that staging a home decreases the amount of time a home spends on the market.
- 50% of staged homes saw a 1-10% increase in dollar-value offers from buyers.
- 77% of buyer’s agents said staging made it easier for buyers to visualize the home as their own.
- The top rooms to stage in order to attract more buyers are the living room, master bedroom, kitchen, and dining room.
If you are thinking of selling your home, please reach out to discuss with me. I have had sellers (including myself) stage homes with much success and I’m happy to help you decide what is best for your situation.

Also, if you are considering new construction, remember the builder’s real estate agent represents the builder’s interest, not your’s. There is no cost for you to have a buyer’s agent represent you. In fact, I may be able to help you save money and negotiate for extras which the builder may not let you know about.
